Hospital Manager Regional Monthly Meeting Survey

Thank you to everyone who joined our Spirit Week Zoom on Wednesday morning with short notice. Based on the feedback from the poll we are going to have MORE!!! In case you missed it for your listening pleasure the recording link and password is below.

We want to tentatively schedule our next get together of August 22nd. This will be for all hospital leadership (All Hospital Managers, all Medical Directors and all Associate DVMs. We will always cover “in case you missed it/in other news” recapping general CareVet announcements, deadlines, reminders, etc. and a topic of interest. Below are some example topics that could be included on future meetings. The 2nd question on the survey will ask for your input. You can pick from the below or something different.

+ P&L – 1:1 I will take an actual P&L (taking volunteers that are comfortable with me sharing their financials with the entire region) and break it down at every line item and cover what I’m thinking when reviewing, how financial decisions are made and what goals are for not only KPI’s, but P&L and based on your individual hospital based on when you partnered with CV. (You should have received your one pager P&L this morning or will be coming out by end of today from either myself or your DM)

+ Relief – when to have relief and when not to, submitting invoices. 1099 vs. employee, determining fair payrate that is mutually beneficial to doctor and to your hospitals financials

+ Declining visits/forward booking/CareCheck increasing revenue

+ Managing vs. Leadership – the art of delegation. Working your individual team members strengths.

+ DVM labor/OTC/setting production/revenue goals to cover adequate team staffing/hours.

+ Productivity score vs. labor % how to help this without decreasing TM hours.

+ Handling client complaints and celebrating positive reviews.
