Happy Wednesday – I come to you today with exciting news in the CareVet procurement partnership space… 🥁
We are excited to announce that CareVet has entered into a supply partnership with Medline effective March 1st, 2025, and we are thrilled to offer the Medline portfolio of supplies to the CareVet network starting this morning via BAPS (Vetcove). The great quality, comprehensive product portfolio, and competitive pricing will be of great benefit to our hospitals medically and financially every day!
Background on Medline: Medline is the largest provider of medical-surgical products and supply chain solutions serving all points of care. Founded in 1966, Medline has 45 distribution centers in the United States, and offers approximately 335,000 Medline Brand and third-party products, including white goods, hospital supplies, and surgical instruments. Medline currently serves healthcare providers anywhere a patient, resident, or consumer needs access to medical products, and most recently Medline expanded into animal health in the United States.
What’s Next?
We have worked with the Medline and Vetcove teams to setup accounts for all hospital locations and are having them connected to BAPS this morning so you can view the catalogue and purchase supplies. Note, if your hospital joined the CareVet network in the past 6 months and you aren’t connected yet, we are working on setting up and connecting your account in the coming week (bear with us please!).
With the connection of your hospital’s account to BAPS, you will receive a box of Medline product samples curated for Animal Health. Please make sure to take the survey included in the sample box so that Medline can collect your feedback on this offering. There is no requirement to purchase from Medline, but we do encourage you to explore their offerings and incorporate their products and services where it makes sense for you and your hospital.
Medline territory managers and inside sales representatives will be reaching out to connect with you and the team in the next two weeks. We encourage you to partner with them for any and all of your Medline Brand and Supply Chain Solutions needs.
