- In May, CareVet's Hospital Managers gathered in St. Louis, MO, for MAP, a two-day training event.

December Pet of the Month

“Omelet, also known as Omie, was once the clinic cat for a couple of years. He was a spunky guy who would stalk the employees from around the corners, or chase them down the long hallway latching onto their legs to give them a quick love bite. He would enjoy doing things on his own terms as he was a bit ornery. I would take him home with me over the weekends every now and then and he was a completely different cat. He loved to cuddle and allowed being pet and held which surprised me, but once he was back at the clinic he went back to his sinful ways. I told everyone about how sweet he was at home, and they just couldn’t believe it until I showed them videos of him snuggling and kneading the freshest biscuits in the city. I grew super attached to him and asked the veterinarian if I could keep him, and she said yes. It was the happiest day of my life. He’s been living with me for several years now and he’s my best boy. He was just a misunderstood kitty who was overstimulated in a loud clinic. Now he's an understood kitty with a quiet loving home to call his own.”
