Action Required by 1/31: Wellness Wednesdays

Hi all,

If your hospital has been experiencing an increase in unfilled appointment slots this January and headed into February, we are reaching out to encourage you to participate in a Wellness Wednesday promotion during February. The details of this program are below, as well as a form you must complete by 1/31/24 to opt into the program.

Please note that this will impact the social media and email calendar we previously distributed in our February Marketing Update email on January 19th. Many of you have also opted into a dental promotion of your hospital’s choosing during February – this can run in conjunction with Wellness Wednesdays, and both will be effective to drive additional visits during a traditionally slower time of the year.

Wellness Wednesday promotion details if you choose to participate (please complete the form below to opt in):

• Every Wednesday in February, clients who mention the offer will receive either a free heartworm test for canines or free feline leukemia tests for felines with the purchase of a wellness exam. Additionally, clients who come in and mention the offer will receive a $25 credit to be used at their next appointment within six months. This is up to a $100 value.

• DVMs should still earn production on these tests! Please set up a discount code (WellWed) and assign it to a non-DVM provider, such as over-the-counter. Please instruct your team to include the test on the client’s invoice and apply the discount code. If you cannot use WellWed as your code, please share your code with us in the form linked below to opt in.

• For the $25 coupon, please print and use the attached coupons. I have included a Word doc template if you would like to revise these. If not, you may use the PDF to easily print these out. You may choose to use a different method for these future discounts if you prefer. The coupon/discount expires on 8/31/24.

• This offer is meant to be used with whichever in-clinic heartworm test your hospital is currently using. If you do not have an in-clinic heartworm test and you need to use a reference lab, that is okay, too. Heartworm tick combos are okay if this is what you normally use. Our marketing messages will not include this, so if your hospital usually does heartworm only, that is also completely fine.

• If you choose to opt in, our team will begin promoting this to your clients via social media, email, website and digital ads in early February. There is a sign attached here as well if you would like to print out signs and post them in your lobby, exam rooms, etc. Please see the first attachment for the updated social and email calendar ft. Wellness Wednesday content. If your hospital is not participating, we will schedule according to the original marketing update shared earlier this week (second attachment).
